The PS#4 replacement joint is located where the three legs that form the base of the upright come together.  To determine the correct part you need to replace begin at the top of the upright where the anchor pin for the crossbar is located.  Working your way down the first joint you come to is PS#2.  The next joint down is the larger of the two collars or joints and it is PS#3.  Continuing down the next joint will be PS#4.  This is where you can adjust the spread of the three legs for a custom base fit.  This part comes with the tightening peg, the joint, and a brake that fits directly behind the peg to keep the nut from falling off if you should unscrew the peg entirely.
